Many might be familiar with the popular series of books that the Arcadia Publishing firm produces, well the Historic National Road will be showcased in a new book by the firm. This is a great opportunity to share the history of the road through images, and encourage residents and tourists alike to get out, drive the Historic National Road and see many of these landmarks that still exist today.

The Indiana National Road Association is currently working on collecting images and background information from each of the communities across the byway in Indiana, and if you have images to share, now is the time to contact us to share your history! Historic photographs of your hometown, or your favorite country scene, a lost landmark or a beautifully preserved monument of our past are all images we are currently seeking.
